Passengers — Messrs A. E. Elder and A. McLean. 29 —Maori, s.s., for the Wairoa and Mohaka, with several passengers. 30 —To Anau, s.s., for Northern ports. Passengers—Mesdames Price and Macfarlane ; Misses Anderson and Price ; Messrs Bridger, Agner, 11. Faulknor, Egan, N. Jones, J, Turner, J. Villers, and Neil Hansen ; Master Bridger, The Lydia Howarde Opera and Burlesque Company (16), and about 110 original. £ . The Union Company's s.s. Te Anau, Captain M. Carey, arrived here on Sunday at one o'clock from Adelaide, Melbourne, and Hobart Town, via Southern ports, and left again for tho Northern ports at 7 p.m. Her cargo, some 60 tons, was lightered ashore by the ketches Why Not and Three Brothers.
The s.s. Fairy returned from IS'uhaka, Mahia, and Whangawei on Saturday night, ■with 50 bales of wool.
The steamer Sir Donald returned from Fairy Fay on Sunday night, having landed her cargo and shipped 90 bales of wool, which she transhipped to the Loehnagar this morning. She is to leave again for BlackLead to-morrow evening. The Union Company's s.s. Rotorua, Captain J. Tozer, left Sydney on the 20th inst., at 7 p.m., and arrived at Rnssell on the 25th at 6 p.m. ; coaled, and left on the 26th at 1.30 a.m., arriving at Auckland after a twelve hours' passage , sailed again on the 27th ab 1 p.m., and arrived at Q-isborne the next evening at 6 p.m.; had considerable delay in transhipping passengers and cargo, and did not get away until the 29th at 6 a.m., arriving hero at 2 o'clock. Experienced strong E. winds for the first three days after leaving Sydney, and then fine weather as far as Auckland; thence strong H. winds to Gisborne, and fine weather after leaving there until arrival here. The ketch Admiral lightered ashore the cargo, some 70 tons. She resumed her voyage for Hobarfc, and JVieibournu, via. southern ports, at 7.50 o'clock, taking a quantity of general cargo.
The s.s. Maori, Captain Anderson, left for at 10 o'clock on Saturday night, takiiiff J' ar P 0 . aTld passengers. She leaves again for the same place on Tuesday at 10 p.m. The barque Loch Fleet was brought from the ballast ground and moored at the inner buoy this morning
The s.s. Rosina, Captain P. Scott, ia to leave for G-isborne this evening. Messrs Shaw, Savill and Co.'s barque liochnagar wants but about 600 bales to complete her loading, and will probably get away by Monday next.
The cargoes out of the Union boats were discharged by the lighters at the breastwork this morning.
The Union Company's s.s. Arawata arrived at the Bluff at 6 a.m. to-day. She left Melbourne on the 26th, and experienced strong westerly winds throughout. Mr Brace is a passenger by her for Napier.
