Messrs H. Monteith and Co. report —At our monthly cattle sale at the Shamrock yards yesterday the whole of the stock yarded, comprising ahout 60 head, were sold at satisfactory prices. We quote fat cattle. 17a fid to 20s per 1001b ; stores, 3-year-old steers, £o 10s to £6 per head ; 2-yonr-olds, £4 7s 6d ; yearlings to 18 months, £8 17s 6d ; 2 to 8-year-old heifers in calf, £5 to £7 ; cows, og'ed, £4.
