The Greek Government is strongly opposed to the proposal of the Porte that a Conference should be held at Constantinople to determine the frontier question, and extensive preparations are still proceeding throughout Greece for the increase and mobilisation of the army, with the intention of obtaining the required cession of territory from Turkey by force of arms if necessary.
