Quotations.— Hennessy's brandy, case, 375: Kerosine, diamond, Is 8d ; New Zealand wheat, 4s 3d; maize, 3s 2d. Tbe hay market is extremely depressed owing to large supplies. At to-day's sitting of the Conference tbe question of the constitution of tbe Federal Council was discussed, but tbe debate on the subject was adjourned until Monday next. A telegram from Sir Arthur Gordon to Lord Augustus Loft us, relating to the decision of tbe Conference to appoint a committee to investigate the powers of the High Commissioner for the Western Pacific, was considered, and a reply was resolved upon. ADELAIDE. January 21. Wheat is quoted at 4s 5d to 4s 6d, with a good demand ; town flour £10 10s to £10 15s, and country brands £9 5s to £9 10s per ton.
