January, 19—-Kiwi, s.s., for Wellington via the ccast. Passengers—Misses Campbell and Cameron, ancl Mr Brown. 19—F.lsinoro, schooner, for Tairau, 19 -Fairy, s.s., for Te Apiti. » The s.s. Kiwi, Capt. Campbell, left for Wellington at 5 o'clock last nialit. The Schooner Flsinore sailed for Tairau at 6 o'clock last night. The steamer Fairy, Capt. Campbell, left for Te Apiti last night, taking a full load of stores and timber. The s.s.Resultreturned from Wairoa yesterday afternoon, bringing a cargo of wool and hides, and several passengers. The s.s. Sir Donald, Captain Quinlan, returned from Fairy Bay and Waimarnma last night. She landed the -whole of her cargo, and took in 110 bales of wool, 103 bales of which she transhipped to tho Glenlora this morning. The Union Company's boats Albion and Bingarooina are due here on Saturday, the former from Northern ports at an early hour, sailing south al 11 a.m., and the litter at about noon, sailing for Sydney via Northern ports at 5 p.m. The Omaha will leave Lyttelton for the Olvthnm Islands on "-aturday next.
Tho brigantiDe Ethel, Captain Thomas Wvatt, arrived in the roadstead at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon, and will be brought inside and moored at the breastwork this evening. She is from Oarnnrn, and brings a full load of o:i-t.s, flour, wheat, oatmeal, malt, &0., to various consignees. She reports h'tving expprieneed a mixture of gales and oalms throughout, being twelve days on the way.
The s.s. Grn.Ahead. Capt, F. M. Dicker, left WfuTngf'on nn Tuesday night at 6.30 ; arrived at Cm-tie Point, at 6 a.m. next day ; landed passengers at 10 ton 9of cargo, and shipped a few bales of wool, leaving at 11 a.m., and arrived hero at 10.20 p.m. yesterday. Experienced a fresh N.W. wind up till leaving Castle Point, when it increased to a gale. She brought 108 tons of cargo, being principally transhipments ex Antares and Hurunui, which was all discharged by noon. She is to be taken outside at G o'clock to-night, but will not sail before 7 o'clock. The passengers will be taken off in her boat. She will arrive in Wellington on Friday night, so that passengers going by her will be in time for the regatta.
