The steamer Kiwi, 133 tons register, Captain James Campbell* arrived Jn the roadstead at 8 o'clock this morning "from Wellington direct, being unable to call afc any place on the coast on account of the heavy swell, and was brought inside and moored at the cattle wharf shortly afterwards, where she discharged her cargo, consisting of s6me 54 tons of general merchandise and transhipments ex the Antares from London. She reporte having left Wellington at 7 o'clock on Monday nighfc ; passed Castle Point at 2 o'clock on Tuesday, arriving here as above. Experienced a fresh N.E. breeze with a heavy swell throughout; She steams for ■\A r *>|j!ri!.f(-iin and the coast afc 4 o'clock hie afternoon.
