January. 13 —Alexa, barque, for London

The s.s. Kiwi, Capt. James Campbell, arrived here 'at 5 o'clock this morning, and war- io* i-d inside at once and moored at the breastwork, where she discharged her cargo, cor.sisling of some 70 tons of general merchandise. She reports having left Wellington on Tuesday evening at 6.15 p.m. ; arrived at Castle Point at 8 a.m. next day; land< d four passengers and mail, and lett at 11 a.m. (the sea being too heavy to allow her to land cargo) ; arrived at (ape luraacain at 4 p.m. ; landed Mr and Mrs Herbert and family, and left at 6 p.m., arriving here as above. Experienced heavy easterly swell, with a frreh N.E. wind, throughout. She steams for Wellington again si 5 p.m. to-day. , Ihe New Zealand Shipping Company s chartered barque Alexa, Capt. G. Bobfe, was pot under way at ti.3o a.m. this day, jind sailed slowly out of tho Bay with a light 3, W. breeze. The Pilot did not leave her until about 10 o'clock, when she was off the Pania buoy. We wish Capt, Robb and his officers a speedy and pleasant voyage. The Union Company's s.s. Rotomahana will probably not leave Auckland until tomorrow, as she is being detained until the arrival of the ' Frisco mail steamer. The Union Company's s.s. Tararua, Capt. Muir, is due here on Saturday from Melbourne and the <■ outh, sailing again for the Worth at the usua? time.
