11—Maori, s.s., for Wairoa and Mohaka Passengers—Father "Reignier, Mr J. A, Rearden, and another.

The s.s. Maori, Captain Anderson, steamed for Wairoa and Mohaka at 4 o'clock this morning, taking several passengers and a good cargo. The s.s. Kiwi, Captain Jamos Campbell, leaves Wellington at 5 o'clock to-niglifc, and may be looked for at an early hour on Thursday morning, sailing again at 2 o'clock the same day.

Tho steamers Result and Boojum are io leave for the Wairoa to-morrow morning, the former at 8 o'clock, and the latter at 7, taking excursionists to the Wairoa races. 1 he steamers Sir Donald arid Fairy await n, more favorable turn in the weather before leaving for the coast. The Union Company's s.s. Rotomahana, 1727 tons, Thomas Uunderwood master, with 39 saloon and 40 steerage passengers, and a cargo of merchandise, arrived at Russell from Sydney at 7.30, a.m. to-day. She is due here" on Saturday next. The New Zealand Shipping Company's chartered barque J,lexa, Capt. G-. Robb, cleared at the Custom House yesterday afternoon, and will sail for London as soon as she gets a fair wind. The following is a summary of her cargo and its shippers :— Shipped by Messrs Wardrop and Co., 232 bales of wool, valued at £3958 18s 2d ; by Messrs Kinross and Co., 318 bales of wool, valued at £5328 ss; by Messrs Murray, Roberts and Co., 133 quarter bales of ■wool, valued at £870 15s; by the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, 1085 bales of wool, 4 bales of skins, 2 bags and 4 quarter bales of wool, and 11 casks of tallow, valued at £2C,972 19s ; by the New Zealand Shipping Company, 296 bales of wool, valued at £5760 12s, tho totals being 1931 bales of wool, 137 quarter bales and a bags of wool, 11 casks of tallow, and 4 bales of sheep skins, the whole being •valued at £36,891 9s 2d.
