It has been definitely decided that a team of Footballers shall proceed to England in May.
January 7. The revenue of Victoria for the last quarter amounted to £1,252,000, being aD increase of £193,000 compared with the corresponding quarter of 1879. The chief increases are—Customs, £59,000; excise, £63,000 ; public works, £67,000 The territorial revenue shows a decrease of £15,000. The revenue for the year 1880 amounted to £4,706,000, being an increase of £292,900 on 1879.
