Mr Russell's Lincolns have for many years occupied a forward position at the principal Shows in Canterbury and Otago, and this year, besides carrying off S all the cups, were likewise successful in taking the srold medals for Champion Rams and Ewes at Timaru, Christchurch, and Dunedin, and having established their supremacy by successfully competing with sheep from every flock of any note in the Middle Island, are now admitted to be the premier flock of Lincolns in New Zealand.
