Nazi Documents As Evidence LONDON, August 21. Nazi Partv files in Germany provided additional evidence against M.-tjo l ’ Vidkun Quisling during today's session at. his trial for I reason. 'rhe prosecutor. Mr. Schocd.it. accused Quisling of failing in his duty ami loyalty as a Norwegian oflieer when mobilization was ordered in 1910. Mr. Schoed.it produced documents found in Germany as evidence of treasonable activities hi 1940 by Quisling and «tn agent, Ilngelin. One document concerned a meeting between Quisling, Hllgelin and the German Genera] Staff in 1939. It mentioned Quisling's preparations to take over kev posts in Norway when the Germans invaded. Quisling, replying to the judge, denied that he negotiated with German nttva 1 and military chiefs in the way suggested by lhe reports. He was convinced that the Germans would come Io Norway if England and France attacked Norway. His efforts were directed toward making the German occupation as smooth as possible—in other words, Io have the Germans arrive before the British and French.
