Viceroy To Visit London LONDON, August 21. The Secretary for India. Lord Pethick; Lawrence, announced in the House of Lords that Lord Wavell is coming home soon. His invitation is for consultation on all Innin's problems. Lord Pethick-Lawrence said that if Lord Wavell's counsels was to he utilized to the fullest, direct personal contact was essential. It is officially announced in New Delhi that general elections for the Central and Provincial Legislatures will be held throughout India as soon as possible. They were hist held for the Central Assembly in 1934 and for the provincial bodies iii 1936. The life of the asseniby was extended in’ 1940 for a year after the end of the war.
