(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) NELSON, August 22. The R.N.Z.A.F. Technical Training Schoo] at Nelson is to be transferred to Ilobsonville, Auckland, as soon as it can i»e accommodated at the northern station. In tlm meantime the general demobilization of station personnel is to proceed. Air headquarters could today give no definite date for its closing, but it was suggested that all but the maintenance start would have been released or, transferred to Ilobsonville in a fortnight s time. The first men to be demobilized will he trainees who have only recently begun their courses. Men who have got beyond a certain stage of their training and who wish to complete their course for rehabilitation purposes will be given the opportunity to do so, and those who have applied to join the permanent force will also continue at the school. The attitude to be adopted toward men who are on refresher or conversion courses has not yet been decided by the Air Department. It is expected that, the releases now proposed will bring the number at the school down to about 41)0. 7he toehiiieal training school was established at I\ong<»tai, Wellington, early in the war, transferring to Nelson in June, 1943. when the Nelson station was vacated by the No. 2 General Reconnaissance Squadron.
