SMASH IN ARIZONA
Luxury Train Wrecked LOS ANGELES, July 4. Twelve persons were killed and 26 injured in a train smash early this morning at Williams, Arizona. 'The stream-lined luxury train “Santa Fe Chief,” was running 30 minutes late when it rounded a sharp curve into, a down grade. Suddenly the big engine and the tender left the rails and overturned. Four cars next to the engine catapulted beyond (lie engine, and .12 of the 14 coaches were piled up.
