(Received July 3, 11.55 p.m.) KANDY. July 3. Brigadier 11. N. F. Marks, aged 43, senior administrative staff officer to the bite Brigadier-General Wingate is missing, presumed killed, in an air crush over friendly ferirtory. He had set off in a Dakota from the Chindit's base for General Lentaigne’u headquarters. The weather was extremely bad.
