CANADIAN GENERAL ELECTION

Indications are mounting that Canada will have a general election in the autumn, almost coinciding with the 1. nited Stales elections, reports the “New York Times” Ottawa correspondent. Both the Government and Opposition are reported to agree that it would be wise to hold the election in November, when (ho issue of the war would no longer be doubtful and ejectors can fairly indicate their desires regarding post-war nolicv.
