The high wind marred play 'in the Rugby League fixture at Newtown Park ou Saturday, when I’otone scored a comfortablc win over Newtown. Play was even till the last 15 minutes, when the sudden collapse of Newtown enabled letone to score, four times. Play was mostly confined to the forwards. The score was: Petone 17 (tries by Sullivan 3, and Greenstreet 2, Corkin converted one), Ncxvtown 5 (a try bv Gastro, converted by Beaton). Korudale'32 (tries by Mkidch 3, Martin 3, Bolton ami Balderston, four conversions by Bevan) beat Miramar 9 (tries by Mclntosh 2, and GolK'jD. Randwick A 6, Aotctt 5. B Grade.—Waterside’s heavier forwards controlled the game against Army. Neither side's backs had much opportunity to keep Hie game open. The score xvas; Waterside'l7 (tries hv Drury.
