Patriotic Meeting At Hastings

The final patriotic meeting of the season will be staged at Hastings today by the Hawke’s Bay .Jockey Club. The victory -Maiden has been divided into two separate races, the second and fourth on Hie programme, which now consists of seven events and the bulk of the acceptors were seen in action at the club’s winter meeting last week, so the form is well exposed. There has been some light rain during the week and the track will again be dead, though in good winter condition. Riding engagements are: W. J. Stevens, First Edition. Rough Passage; C. A.
