WEDDING

Pollock—McKenna

The wedding took place at St. Augustine’s Church. Pc tone, ree.ent.ly' of Janet Renfrew Crawford, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. McKenna, Pctonf, and Petty Officer David, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Pollock. Taylorville, GrcymouthThe Rev. Mr. Kenney officiated. The bride, who was 1 escorted by her father, wore a frock of ivory embossed cloche trimmed with silver and cut on slim-fitting lines. Iler embroidered veil was held in place by a coronet of orange blossom, and she wore a string of pearls, the gift of the bridegroom. Her bouquet was of white chrysanthemums, pink roses, bride blossoms and maidenhair fern. Misses Catherine and Nessie McKenna attended tbe bride wearing blue crepe de chine frocks. Their shoulder length veils were held in place by cyclamen coronets and they' carried bouquets to tone. The small flower-girl. Robyn Elinkhorn. Lower Hutt, wore pink organdi. relieved with blue, and carried a bouquet of pink and blue blossoms. All three attendants wore gold bracelets, the gift of the bridegroom. Mr. J. W. McKenna was best man. Mr. F. McKenna groomsman, and Master Stanley Pollock was page boy. The reception was held at the Petone Tennis Club pavilion, where Mrs. McKenna and Mrs. Pollock received the guests. The bride travelled in a blue and brown chock three-piece snit with blue accessories.
