Veteran Dutch Airman (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Special Australian Correspondent.) (Received June 30, 11 p.m.) SYDNEY, June 30. The death is renorted in action of the veteran Dutch flyer Lieutenant-Colonel F. J. Roller, aged 42, commander of u Mitchell squadron. After leading bis squadron on 15 operational flights lie was shot down while attacking enemy shipping in Netherlands East Indies waters. Three enemy shins were destroyed in the attack-. Lieut.-Colonel Roller went to the Netherlands East Indies from Holland in 1926 and played an important part in organizing the Dutch Air Force there. He had been decorated by Queen Wilhelmina.
