WAR PENSION MATTERS

Discussing pensions yesterday the R.S.A. Dominion conference resolved to ask that section 14 of the War Pensions Act. 1943, be amended to provide that death or disablement from whatever cause arising during (or from) service overseas, in New Zealand, or. in camps, barracks or elsewhere, as a member of and und?r the control of His Majesty's forces, should be conclusively presumed to be due to such service. It was also resolved to ask that the war pensions boards should each consist of three members and should not include the Secretary for War Pensions or auy other departmental officer.
