Increases For Dairying And Crops A fertilizer control order gazetted last night provides that dairy-farmers this year shall be entitled to an increase in their topdressing ration over last years allocation of not more than lewt. of super for each cow ifiilked during the 11)44-45 season. Fertilizer supplies for crops will be on the same basis as ,last year, except for the following per-acre increases: (1) Wheat grown in the North Island, increased to 2cwt.; (2) mangolds, to 3cwt. *, (3) rape and kale, to lß*wt.; (4) turnips and swedes sown on ridge, to 2Acwt.; (5) turnips and swedes sown ou the flat, to llcwt.: (6) tobacco, to Scwt.: (7) new grass, 14cwt.
