WELCOMED HOME

Welsh Society Gathering

The executive members of the Welsh Society in Wellington met at Kirkcaldie’s tea-rooms to welcome home the Rev. T. Skuse. C.F., and to wish both him and Mrs. Skuse success and every happiness in their new charge at Mr. John Tucker, president, and Mrs. W. McLeod, vice-president, said how pleased they all were to see Mr. Skuse looking so fit and well after his recent visit to the Mediterranean, and thanked him for his past services as president of the Welsh Society in Wellington.

Mr.' Skuse gave interesting accounts of his travels in the Holy Land, and of his joining a thriving Welsh society in Bombay. While the party was at tea, several songs were sung, those present finally giving a fine rendering of ‘AU Through the' Night.” in Welsh. Mr. Frank Crowther ably assisted at the piano.
