RESIGNATION REPORT
Finnish Finance Minister LONDON, June 28. A Stockholm report says that a Swedish evening paper published a special edition reporting that the Finnish Finance Minister, M. Tanner, had resigned. M. Tanner is a Social-Demo-crat. _ , , The report adds that the. People s Party is about to withdraw from the Finnish Government This means that the new agreement with Germany for military aid will lack the backing of Finland’s two main parties, and any new Government that can be formed will be a puppet affair. Between Lake Onega and Lake Ladoga, states tonight’s Soviet communique, the Russians advanced 21 miles. Southwest of Viborg they cleared the enemy from the Kuransaar Isle, in the Gulf of Finland, and thereby occupied the town, fort, and railway station of Tronsundpura. The German news agency s commentator, Hallensleben, said that the strength of powerful German reinforcements would soon be felt in Karelia. The loss of territory there was only temporary. The Germans would never leave their brothers-:in-arms in the lurch.
DIETL’S DEATH RUMOURED

The “Dagens (Nyheter’s” Berlin correspondent .says an unconfirmed report states that General Dietl, the German commander in Finland, has been killed in an air crash.
