Temp. Major A. J. Flint. Royal Tank Regiment, has relinquished the local rank pf major on his return to the United Kingdom.
Mr. L. T. Jacobsen has been appointed a member of tbe Board of Trustees of the National Art Gallery and Dominion Museum by the Wellington City Council. Lieut.-Colonel P. L. Bennett. M.C.. N.Z. Infantry, has been granted the temporary rank of colonel while acting as officer in charge of administration, 2nd New Zealand Expeditionary Force in Pacific, aud base commandant.
Mr. J. M. Rose, Palmerston North, lias been appointed secretary of tile Musterton Dairy Company in succession to the late Mr. C. B. Van Praagh. Mr. Rose was a captain with the Middle East forces and left New Zealand with the First Echelon.'
