The Court of Appeal yesterday reserved judgment on the case in which the Hutt .Golf Estate Company. Ltd., appealed from a judgment by Mr. Justice Blair, which touched on the liability of the State to pay a local hotly when connexions are made between land owned by the State and the local body’s water.and drainage systems. The Court also had before it a cross-appeal by the Lower Hutt City Council on the question or water pipes. Continuing its gifts to the Patriotic Funds, the council of the New Zealand Society of Accountants hns granted £3(n) for the current, appeal.
