LONDON, June 24. The death has occurred of Lord Essendon. Frederick William Lewis was created the first Baron Essendon in 1032. H<! was chairman of Furness. Withey and Co.. Ltd., and of 20 other shipping am! Insurance companies associated with that firm, tie was also prominently associated with a number of other bodies connected with the ehip£lng industry.
