Stiff Resistance North Of Perugia (Received June 26. 1.30 a.m.) LONDON, June 25.

The Allies have made further gains, according to a pommunique from Italy. Fifth Army forces on the coastal sector continue to advance. They are astride Highways 1 and 73-on a broad front, and have captured Follonica. The leading troops on this sector now hold Monte Rotundo and Monte Alio, and are approaching the town of Massamarittima. Eighth Army forces are attacking east and west of Lake Trasimeno. and have occupied Sarteano, and also (he villages of Pescia and Castelvieto. Strong resistance is still being encountered north of Perugia. -
