MONDAY’S BOXING
The Wellington Boxing Association las arranged another attractive programme for patrons at the Town Hall on Monday night, when the principal bout will be’ a professional welterweight contest between Tommy Dunn (Navy) and Bos Murphy (Wellington), both of whom have just joined the professional ranks. The pair should provide some scientific boxing. as Dunn was New Zealand lightweight amateur champion in 1941, aud also was awarded the Jameson Belt that year as the most scientific performer at the tournament. Murphy has had a notable career as au amateur, and is the Wellington amateur welterweight champion. The usual bright amateur bouts will precede the professional contest.
