CIVIL SERVICE INSTITUTE

Various subjects which had received attention during the year and a plan for future activities were discussed at the anqtqil meeting of the Civil Service Institute, neld recently in the EnglishSpeaking Union rooms, Wellington. The president, Mr. A. F. McMurtrie, presid-ed-over a good attendance, and several new members were elected. The outgoing president, secretary and executive were thanked for the services rendered and the following officers, were elected for the ensuing year:—President. Mr. E. H. R, Green; secretary, Mr, H. M. Patrick; treasurer, Mr. T. Treahy; auditor, Mr. A. E. J. Anderson; committee. Messrs. H. C. Lusty, B. L. Dallard, H, D. C. Adams, Dr. A. F. Mackay, J. W. Scott, A. F. McMurtrie, D. Morrison, W. G. Baird. C. E. H. Ball and F. G. Oborn.
