Situation In Yugoslavia (British Official Wireless.! (Received June 22, 7.5 p.m.) . RUGBY, June 21. A communique issued by M. Subasic, the Yugoslav Prime Minister, states: “During the recent negotiations .between the Yugoslav Prime Minister, and Marshal Tito, King Peter visited ■ Malta, where he inspected units of the Royal Yugoslav Navy. The Yugoslav Prime Minister has now joined the king in Italy, where they are conferring with . the Supreme Allied Commander concerning the situation in Yugoslavia and are. visiting the Italian front as the guests of General Alexander.”
“The towns of Goca, Cajince and Hum, in western Bosnia, have been occupied by Yugoslav troops,” says Marshal Tito’s communique. “The enemy suffered heavy losses and the Partisans are maintaining the offensive. The fighting is particularly heavy on the Livno-Sujica sector. Heavy losses were inflicted on the enemy in a pitched battle at Prozor. “In Herzegovina enemy attacks from the direction of Nevesinj were repelled. In the Sanjak the enemy is attacking Partisan positions with very strong forces and the support of aircraft. Heavy fighting is raging on the PrijedorBugojno sector. “In Croatia, fighting is particularly heavy at Korenicii, in the Lika province. In northern Dalmatia, the enemy is concentrating troops for a fresh offensive.”
