“The gate :1s open in this country for every ambitious boy to make something of himself," said Mr. Justice Tyndall during the hearing of submissions at yesterday’s sitting of the Commission of Inquiry OU apprenticeship matters. It had also been his experience that there was plenty of room at the top of the ladder. That fact was impressing itself on him more and more. Any bright yqung man could always find somewhere better to go if ho wanted to get there.
