BRILLIANT METEOR

A resident of Newtown reported last night that a brilliant meteor passed over the district at 7.35 o’clock. It came from the south, and moved swiftly over the city iu the direction of Petone. One observer declared that it had a large bulb in front, greenish to blue in colour, and its red tail was freely emitting sparks.
