"Ace hunter’’ is the captain in the “Daily Express,” over a photograph of Flight-Lieutenant A. E. Umbers, Dunedin, flying a Tempest, Britain’s latest fighter. Umbers has shot down four flying bombs, and holds the record for his squadron.
He had an unpleasant experience when one bomb blew up. The force of the explosion sent bis Tempest on its back and 1 he flew upside down through the debris.
