Hooks for the carriage of prams are to be fitted to 38 more trams by the Christchurch Tramway Board. The cost will be £350. The works and traffic committee reported recently that 2;> one-man cars and 13 on (he Cashmere Hills route liad been fitted with hooks at a cost of £238. There had been no change in the maximum weight of prams, which was 331 b.
