The Wellington division of the New Zealand National Party will bold a discussion evening at the National Club, Featherston Street, tomorrow evening. The subject of the discussion is, “Is the protection of our manufacturing Industries in the best interests of New Zealand?’’ New Propeller. A new type of propeller which is now the standard equipment on all Thunderbolts of the Eighth Air Force gives the fighters a faster rate of climb and is credited with changing them Irotn high-altitude fighters to all-altitude fighters. The new propeller blade is wider and longer and somewhat heavier than the old type.
