RAILCAR MISHAP
Hold-up On JohnsonvilleWellington Line
With a loud report and a flash from the overhead wires the 8.36 a.m. railcar from Johnsonville to Wellington yesterday came to a sudden halt. The pantograph of the railear had entangled with the overhead wires, causing a short,circuit. A hold-up resulted, and ordinary traffic on the line could not be resumed till after midday. Passengers, most of whom were going to work, were taken on to Wellington by bus. '
