Randwick Beats Miramar
Randwlek continued their winning way bv beating Miramar in the Rugby League fixture at Newtown Park on Saturday. Cold weather conditions did little, to affect the keenness of play. It was 'a fast game between two evenly matched, sides, but Randwick’s forwards used tlieir weight to belter advantage. In the backs also Randwick’s combination was superior. The final score was: Randwlek 14 (tries by Stratford. O’Halloran. McCabe. and Miller: one penally goal by Moses). Miramar 1) (trv by Halford, converted- by Lollop who also kicked two penalty goals. Korodale 7 (try by Holton converted by Bevan who also kicked a penalty goal), boat Petone 5 (try by Currie; penalty goal by Corkin). Aotea 18 (tries by Apatu (2), Carrington. Riitenc: two conversions by Greelnnd. wiio also kicked a penalty goal), beat Newtown 5 (Beaton scored a trv and kicked a penalty goal). Hokowliitii-Atu 10 (trios by Smith and Henare. both converted by Hemi). beat Central-St. George 0.
