“ARSENIC AND OLD LACE”

“Arsenic and Old Lace’* continued on Its winning way at .the Opera House last night before another full audience, which pave it the same appreciative reception as did the opening night audience of theatre-goers who had been waiting a long time to «ee a J. C. Williamson company back on a Wellington stage. The choice of the play could not have been better. Its reputation assured its success, and the company playing it has done nothing to detract from that. This brilliantly-written play, with its blend of the amusing and the macabre and the right proportions of romance and melodrama, has properly caught the imagination of theatre-goers. “Arsenic and Old Lace” will be presented this afternoon aud tonight and next week.
