“One Blood.”
Mr. C. Menehen. honorary secretary of the Wellihgton Blood Transfusion Service. stated yesterday that through the courtesy of Sir Harry Batterbee. High Commissioner for (lie United Kindotn, a film entitled “One’Blood” was .crooned before members of the committee recently. So impressed were they with the Ministry of Information film that Sir Harry had kindly telegraphed London asking for a second copy to ho sent out for the use of the service. The film describes the work of the Emergency Blood Transfusion Service in England, the taking of blood from volunteers by mobile units, the process of dehydrating, the preparation of serum, and the manv uses of blood in the present conflict. This film will be screened before interested groups of people after the annual meeting of the Wellington service in the near future.
