Feeling reference to the death of Sergeant Ronald O. Spotswood, of Waipukurau and Wellington, reported this week as having been killed in action while serving in Italy, was made at last week’s parade of rhe Walpukiirau Fire Brigade, of which he had for many year*? been a member. Sergeant Spotswood, whose wife is a daughter of Mr. F. R. Logan, president of the Wai pawn branch of the R.S.A., ami Mrs. Logan. Onga Onga, left with the third echelon under .Major-General A. S. Wilder, and served in the famous long range desert patrol. Ho was home on furlough last year with the first party of veterans to return to New Zealand from the Middle East.
