Good Programme For Winter Meeting (By St. Simon.) The Woodville District Jot-key Club will hold its winter meeting at Woodville t0(1n.5 (ln.5 when a card ot seven raws will be presented, chief of which will be the Woodville Cup. The lield of 22 in the Maiden Plate exceeds the safely number by two. Provision has been made to run tiie event in divisions, but with only two withdrawals required there is evpry prospect of it being run in one heat. Arabic, who was likely to be favourite in t lie Papatawa Steeplechase has broken down and will not fulilt his engagement. There are no brackets on the card. The track is in good Winter order, but on the soft side.
