The' AVellington season of the J. C. Williamson comedy company will begin on June 19, at the Opera House. It will present first Joseph Kesselring’s comedy* drama. “Arsenic and Old Lace," which is in Its fourth year iu New York, and which broke all records in Australia. It is three years since Wellington playgoers last saw a theatrical company from overseas. The Auckland season had to be extended from, six to 10 weeks. t.be theatre being filled at practically every- performance. The comedy copipany is headed 'by Lloyd Lambic, who some years ago appeared here in the leading role of "Night Must Fall,” and Neva Carr Glyn. who has not previously visited the Dominion. Other* in the company are Frank Bradley. John. Tate. Ethel Gabriel. Lily Moore. Bettina, Welch. Barbara Smith. Allan Christie, Sam Stern. June Mendoza, Ruth Montgomerie, John Gray, Alan Rankin. Stephen chapman, Leslie King, and other notaole artiste. “Arsenic and Old Lace* is thrilling and amusing, and is regarded as being one of the company’s iinest presentations. Only a limited number of performances can be staged of “Arsenic and Old Lace, and it will be followed by ,£?■* God,” “Claudia,” The Man Who Came to Dinner.” _ _
