OUTLOOK FOR EDUCATION
There is a stirring in the educational world in this country ns well as in Great Britain. The raising of the school age, the report of the Consultative Committee on Post-Primary Education and the conference on education that the Alini«ter of Education has called to meet in Christchurch in August arc all signs of the times. Alay 24 is the foundation day of Victoria University College, and this year tiie subject of the foundation day address is "The Outlook for Education in New Zealand.” It will be given by Air. A. E,/ Campbell, director of the N.Z. Council for Educational Research, whose close contact with educational developments is sure to make his address informative and stimulating.
