Mr. 11. Green, acting-mayor of I’elone, has acceded to the request of a deputation that he should consent to be nominated for the office of president of the Hutt Valley R.S.A. While working at Aotea Quay yesterday morliing, Mr. W. I. McKenzie, watersider. 18 Windsor Place, was struck by a case that fell out of n sling. He received an injury to his right shoulder and back and a lacerated wound on his forehead. He was taken to hospital by tiie Free Ambulance.
