MAGISTRATES’ COURT
For delivering tyres without permission from the Commissioner of Supply, a garage proprietor, Joseph Oliver Billiugs, was convicted and fined £5 with costs, In the Magistrates’ Court. Wellington, yesterday, bv Mr. Stilwell, S.M. A fine of £2 with costa was imposed on Rangi Karaitiana for the misuse of oil fuel. For stealing three dice, valued at 3ld„ the property of Selfridges (N.Z.), Ltd., George Edward Allen, waterside worker, aged 46. was fined £1 with costs. For stealing 10 pairs of socks, valued at £2 15/-, from the same firm, he was fined £5 with costs. William Neil Larkin, bushmah. was fined £5 with costs for the theft of a motor-car wheel, tyre and tube. An order for the return of the wheel was made.
