For stealing three dice, valued at 3ld„ the property of Selfridges (N.Z.), Ltd., George Edward Allen, waterside worker, aged 46. was fined £1 with costs. For stealing 10 pairs of socks, valued at £2 15/-, from the same firm, he was fined £5 with costs. William Neil Larkin, bushmah. was fined £5 with costs for the theft of a motor-car wheel, tyre and tube. An order for the return of the wheel was made.
