New Zealand athletes competed with sue. cess at a recent army meeting at Bari, winning three field titles. G. L. Main and D. Gillespie, both of Auckland, won the shot putt and the Javelin throw respectively, and A. E. Redmont, Canterbury, won the discus throw. K. A. Welsh, Wanganui, and 8. T. Hart, Te Kiiiti, were second and third respectively in the javelin throw.
