AUSTRALIAN MEETING
Reference By President Roosevelt • (Received May 17, 8 p.m.) WASHINGTON, May 16. Asked at his Press conference if he would attend the meeting in Australia which Mr. Curtin recently mentioned in Loudon and to which Mr. Curtin invited Mr. Churchill, President Roosevelt said lie had heard rumours of such a meeting, but had not received any direct word about it either from Australia or New Zealand. “I expect to see Mr. Curtin and Mr. Fraser, however, when they are passing through on their Way from London,” he said.
