Noted Australian Forward (Received May 15, 11.40 p.m.) SYDNEY, May 15. One of Australian Rugby’s greatest forwards, Aubrey Hodgson, has announced his retirement from the game. Playing his 124th first-grade match for Manly on Saturday, he brokg a collarbone.' Hodgson first represented New South Wales in 1930. He played against New Zealand in 1932 and thereafter was one of the first selections for any Australian team. He toured South Africa and England as well as New Zealand. Hodgson will referee and coach waen he recovers from his present injury.
