ATTEMPTED MURDER CHARGE
Woman Arrested As the outcome of Richard Townsend Chorlcy. soldier, of Tawai Street. Trentham. being admitted to We lington Hospital on May 4 with a .22 bullet wound in the abdomen. Detectives Alty anti Scott yesterday arrested Mary Stuart M alker on a charge of having attempted to murder Ghorley at her residence. 74 Bamel Street, Newtown, on May 4. Chorlcy is still in hospital. Accused will appear in the Magistrates’ Court this morning to answer tlie charge.
